Reflection on My Partnerd Music Video
Hey everyone, and thank you for your continuous support on tagging along in our updates in my partnered music video with Melissa. In our music video, we used conventions when doing our best to portray, someone who is tired and just wants to relax and be rid of distractions. I believed that this represents a social issue because many people in the world in the world feel tired on most days rather than energized. This might seem like a personal problem but I believe it is a social issue because when you are tired, your mind is not focused. Hence, you do more sloppy on jobs or may make more than a few mistakes. Plus, some mistakes can lead to even greater mistakes, where a company or person or something else of value might be in jeopardy.
Through the act of being lazy in the music video, audiences can relate and feel the extent of the story which we are trying to tell. They can understand or know the feeling of someone calling and waking them up out of their sleep and their response is to either decline the call or just let the phone ring. They know the feeling of just wanting to be in bed and never getting out. This one, mainly for the boys, knows that it is a very comfortable mood to have their hands in their pants when laying down and relaxing. If our music video was ever to be publicized, I would want it to be a commercial advertisement for a product or service. Like for a specific coffee brand, or a furniture company. The video would have to be tweaked of course and a few additional shots would need to be taken and some removed, but that's just the vision I have for this music video if it was to be shown to others. In doing this music video, my skills in demonstration and giving instruction have improved. Before, it was hard for me to explain to someone how or why I wanted a shot to be filmed a certain way. However, now that I have familiarized myself with the process of filming more I can help someone understand more what it is that I need and how it has to be filmed. To edit our music video we had used Clipchamp at first. However, because of technicalities, we had to dump everything onto the VSDC free editor and edit from there. Anyways, we hope that you all will enjoy the music video as Melissa and I had fun while making it and put our whole heart into it. Bye byes
