Planning Storyboard for Walmart Great Value water bottle commercial

 First Scene-

During this scene, I will be filming my backyard as the establishing shot of my commercial. I will use a tilt to start the scene. First, the camera would appear as it is coming out from the grass then I would rotate it to get the whole feel and grasp of the setting. The circular path, buildings, grass, and fence would be showing in this shot. Then the camera would go back in the grass to end the scene.

Second Scene-

In this next scene, I was supposed to be the one running and starting the scene, but there has been a little change of plan. My younger brother Joshua, who is now the main star, would be introduced. He is going to be wearing a shirt with gym shorts and sneakers or cleats. I will use a long shot to introduce the scene, but first, the camera would come out of the grass and tilted vertically up. This would allow for him to seem as he was coming from afar and is now getting closer. As he gets closer the shot would turn from a long to medium shot.

Third Scene-

In this third scene, there would be a jump cut from the previous scene, and now instead of me dancing my brother would be doing karate. He is still going to wearing his sports gear and will now transition from running on the grass to the circular path. While he is doing what he thinks karate moves are, I will shoot him from a low angle so his "karate" moves look more powerful and that he looks superior. I will also do a zoom and tilt it on his face for a close up to see the sweat dripping down his face.

Fourth Scene-

The fourth scene would also be a jump cut from the previous scene. It would be of my brother riding his bike on the circular path rather than me playing soccer with my cousin and godbrother. I will be taking a tracking shot of him riding his bicycle. He will be wearing the same sports gear. The shot could also be considered a long shot.

Fifth Scene-

In the fifth scene, it will be a series of jump cuts of Joshua drinking water after he has finished each of the activities that he did in the previous scene. It would be a close up of each shot.

Sixth Scene-

The sixth scene would be of Joshua putting down the water bottle then walking away. I will then do a close up on the Great value water bottle and then that would be the end of the commercial. I would also put the phrase "Purified Drinking Water," to the side of the water bottle.

*Each scene would last around five seconds and there will be music in the background.
