Planning Storyboard for Walmart Great Value water bottle commercial

Image
First Scene- During this scene, I will be filming my backyard as the establishing shot of my commercial. I will use a tilt to start the scene. First, the camera would appear as it is coming out from the grass then I would rotate it to get the whole feel and grasp of the setting. The circular path, buildings, grass, and fence would be showing in this shot. Then the camera would go back in the grass to end the scene. Second Scene- In this next scene, I was supposed to be the one running and starting the scene, but there has been a little change of plan. My younger brother Joshua, who is now the main star, would be introduced. He is going to be wearing a shirt with gym shorts and sneakers or cleats. I will use a long shot to introduce the scene, but first, the camera would come out of the grass and tilted vertically up. Planning for my Walmart Great Value water bottle commercial

Planning Blog Props: Since I am doing a  water bottle commercial, my main prop would be the Walmart Great Value water bottle. An additional piece that I am going to use is a soccer ball. Costumes: In my commercial, I will use myself as the subject and use my brother, godbrother, and cousin as additional members to help me play some scenes. We will all be in athletic clothes. I would wear leggings or gym shorts, a sweatshirt, sneakers, and a headband; My brother will most likely wear a pair of gym shorts, a shirt, and either his cleats or sneakers; My godbrother will most likely be wearing sneakers, a t-shirt, and shorts since he is a little toddler. My cousin will most likely wear sneakers, shorts, and a shirt. My brother and godbrother's hair is short, so they would not need anything for their heads. My cousin and I, however, may put our hair in updo hairstyles or hairstyles that will keep the hair out our faces. Schedule: On 10/21/20, I researched conventions and codes of water b...

Research: Commercial Conventions  I am doing a Walmart Great Value water bottle commercial. In water bottle commercials, you usually see people doing sports or dance and taking a break to drink water. Or in other water bottle ads, you may see nature, water dripping, and splashing, and then the water bottle either makes its appearance by dropping in the water and making a big splash or being formed by a stream of water or water droplets. Actors may wear sports gear such as leggings, gym shorts, sweatpants, tank tops, sweatshirts, sports bras, sneakers, and headbands. They can either be playing soccer, football, volleyball, basketball, taking a hike, going for a run, at the gym working out, doing karate, or even an activity simple as yoga and meditation or a little more fast-paced as in Zumba or hip hop dancing and other types of dancing genre. Most actors in these commercials typically have an athletic figure and normally drink the water after they are exhausted from doing th...
